Campus

The campus is situated at the outskirts of Madurai in a sprawling green oasis, just 7 km from K.Pudur on Alagarkoil Road. The landscaping ensures a green, pleasant and eco-friendly campus. The campus has a built up area of 1,30,000 sq.ft. The campus is structured to meet the needs of wide range of academic and sports activities. The campus is dotted with about 600 trees of various species.

Classrooms and Laboratories

The classrooms are spacious, well lit, colorful and adequately furnished to provide a comfortable learning atmosphere.

The school has the following labs,

Montessori lab
Computer labs (2 numbers with capacity to accomodate 75 students and 40 students)
Composite Science Lab, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Biology lab

Libraries and AV Facilities

The school has three libraries as follows.

Central library with English books of all genres (with about 13000 books)
Tamil library named “Yaadhum” (with about 4000 books)
Competitive Exam Reference library (with about 1000 books) with preparation guides for NEET, JEE, NATA, CLAT, NID, AISSEE, UPSE, NDA, etc.

About twenty portable TVs are available in the school, assigned to each Grade. Teachers use them as needed in classrooms.

Sports Facilities

We have the following facilities on campus,

Table tennis (8 boards) with two robotic ball serving machines

Outside campus, we are associated with Madurai Rifle Club to train our Grade VII-IX students and NCC cadets.

NCC Facilities

The school has two NCC units functioning with a total of 150 cadets. For training them, the following facilities are available,

Two peep sight rifles
Five open sight rifles
Wooden rifles (10 nos) for parade training
Karagams and Parai (a musical instrument) for Tamil Nadu folk art classes.

Art Room & Outdoor ECA Spaces

The school has a dedicated art room with easel boards.

ECA classes (every Tuesday) happen at the various indoor and outdoor spaces inside campus.

Medical Facilities

A full time nurse is available on campus to give first-aid for injuries and handle emergency situations. The infirmary has two beds available for students in need of rest.

Food Station (Mess) and Water

The school runs a FSSAI approved kitchen facility with cold & hot areas, freezer, and baking unit. Quality and expert chefs with expertise in Indian and Continental cuisines serve delicious and hygienic food to students & staff.

Students can buy lunch tokens in the morning. The meals and food are supplied at a subsidized cost.

Purified drinking water (RO plants) is available for all students and employees at various points in the building.

Transport Facilities

We operate twenty eight buses (as of 2023-24 academic year) across the major routes in the city. All the buses have speed governors installed to avoid over-speeding. The buses have CCTV, front and rear camera as per Govt. safety norms.

Cost and route plans are available at our office.

Cleanliness

The campus is well maintained by a full time housekeeping team (25 housekeeping staff & 15 washroom cleaners) that cares about cleanliness and hygiene. The washrooms are designed keeping the safety and comfort of the students in mind.

The adequate number of washrooms is available for students and staff at short distances from classrooms. Washrooms are maintained spic and span.

Safety & Security

Safety and security provided are of international standards with about 80 CCTVs at vantage points.

As per Fire safety rules, about 25 Fire extinguishers (ANC & CO2) are spread throughout the corridors. Fire hoses are provided in every corridor with Fire motor at the terrace and provision for external fire hydrant.

The campus has compound wall on all sides with five gates. Trained security personnel are equipped to ensure the safety of all the students and the staff.
